I am an adopted only child that has been living away far my family for about 10 years now. I have been married for 18 years and have 3 children of my own. But now it is time for me to move back home. We live 400 miles away and my father was diagnosed in Septmeber with Alzheimers. Dad does not have anyone there to take care of him. My mother passed away 11 years ago in April and my uncle, dad's brother, lives 4000 miles away from him and he is 2 years older than dad. I am the only family dad has and I feel it is my duty to move back home and take care of him. After all he brought me home and took care of me even though I was not biologicially his. We are hoping to move back the end of May, when our oldest one graduates from high school. But with both of our jobs not being what they used to be it is hard to save money to get back. I started this blog to get our story out and hopefully get some help with our move back home.
